1. OpenClaw GA4 Skill Integration The two community GA4 skills available on ClawHub — jdrhyne/ga4 (minimal, fast to install) and adamkristopher/ga4-analytics (comprehensive, auto-generates Markdown summaries). Prerequisites for the GA4 Data API, what each skill extracts, and when to use BigQuery export instead of the API. Start here if GA4 data is part of your client reporting.

2. Agent Dashboard Scraping Fragility How browser automation works for dashboards without APIs — the five-step CDP scraping loop, session persistence for authenticated dashboards, and the cases where scraping is genuinely the right tool. The central concern: silent failure. A changed CSS selector doesn’t throw an error; it extracts the wrong numbers without warning. Read this before committing to any scraping-based reporting workflow.

3. KPI Reporting via Direct Warehouse Queries The BigQuery and Snowflake CLI patterns for pulling KPI data directly from the warehouse. Pre-written SQL queries that return this week and last week in a single call, column naming conventions that help the agent narrate correctly, and why warehouse queries are strictly more reliable than dashboard scraping for anything recurring. Includes the pattern of pushing calculations into SQL to sidestep LLM math errors.

4. Multi-Client Agent Reporting Architecture How to structure per-client cron job isolation so one credential failure doesn’t block all five clients’ reports. The article evaluates three ways to get data into the reporting workflow:

The hierarchy is clear: warehouse queries when you have warehouse access, GA4 skills for GA4 data specifically, dashboard scraping as a fallback for tools that give you no other option. Every other data access method is more reliable than scraping.

Limitations

Three limitations are important before extending this to client work:

Silent failures: dashboard scraping breaks without warning when UIs change. Even warehouse query reporting can silently produce wrong numbers if the agent miscalculates a percentage. Verification is not optional for client-facing output.

GDPR: client data passing through an LLM API is being processed by a third party. Depending on your model provider and your client’s data processing agreements, this may create compliance issues. Running a local model avoids the third-party concern but introduces other limitations.

For a solo consultant or small agency managing 3–5 clients, the pattern can reduce manual reporting time. A security assessment is required before use with client data, and manual review of output is necessary until output quality is established over time.
